IDEA 3G Huawei usb Modem (E-1550) UNLOCKING tutorial [100% Working]

Huawei internet modem is a most demanded gadget of the year(2010). in this year many cellphone companies like idea cellular,reliance communication, vodafone acer, bsnl mobile has introduced their 3g huawei modems but they all of them excluding idea cellular gives modem with inbuilt sim so we can not use other sim in it. but we are able to use different sim in idea netsetter after unlocking it.
i had aslo bought idea netsetter 3g modem named  huwai E-1550 High speed WCDMA/EDGE/GPRS and had also successfully unlocked it and using videocon sim in it take a look in following screen shot.

Tools Needed :-

1. Idea Net Setter
   [ie., Huawei usb modem(E-1550)]

2. Huawei Modem Unlocker  :     Download from here
   [ie., Unlock code and Flash Code Generator]


3.Flashing Firmware :  Download from here

STEPS YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW :-

• Insert You idea netsetter with default sim (which u got with netsetter)
• Run Huawei Modem Unlocker and enter your IMEI number and click on CALCULATE

• Note the Unlock code and Flash code and keep it safe
• Install Huawei firmware E-1550 For idea india (you can download it from here ).

 

• Then put your Flash code when it asks during installing firmware
• After completion of installation disconnect the netsetter and change the idea sim (insert any other sim ex: Airtel/Docomo/Bsnl etc.)
• Now connect again the netsetter to pc.
• After all the detetction and automatic installations of drivers open the IDEA NETSETTER SOFTWARE
• It will ask an UNLOCK CODE and enter the Unlock code you already noted from Huawei Modem Unlocker.

 

• Thats it Now you can use any sim in your E-1550  !!!

IDEA 3G Net Setter Huawei E1732 Unlocked

UNLOCKING IDEA 3G NET SETTER HUAWEI E1732

This is temporary solution for unlocking E1732. No permanent solution is available right now.


TOOLS NEEDED :


1. IDEA NETSETTER HUAWEI E1732 ( 7.2 Mbps)
2. SOLA GSM CALCULATOR : DOWNLOAD HERE


PROCEDURE :


1. Install Sola GSM Calculator.
NB : Note down the IMEI number of your Huawei device.


2. Insert your Huawei E-1732 and wait for the drivers to be installed.


3. Then run Sola GSM Calculator after all the drivers get installed.


4. Select Huawei Unlocker Tab-> enter your IMEI number-> Get the unlock code for the device.

5. Then select the RELOCK option and click the Do Job button.

6. Then select RESET LCK option and click the Do Job button.

7. Now your modem is UNLOCKED so enjoy it with OTHER NETWORKS and your favourite plans.
